Dr. Shamas Ud Din Ahangar (Double Gold Medalist) Associate Professor in Education, Govt. Degree College Uri, Baramulla -J&K has Twenty-three Years Continuous Teaching and Research Experience at Under-Graduate & Post-Graduate level. Dr. Ahangar has the honor to have of First Position in Master’s Degree in Education. He has been awarded University Gold Medal and LIONS CLUB R R SAHAI Gold Medal by the University of Kashmir for securing First position in M. A. Education.

He has started the career as Lecturer in Education in Higher Education Department in 2002. His area of specialization are Educational Technology and ICT, Measurement and Evaluation and Research in Education. Dr. Ahangar has rendered his duties as teacher and researcher in Govt. College for Women M. A. Road Srinagar, Govt. Degree College Nawakadal Srinagar, Govt. Degree College Sopore and Govt. College of Education (IASE) Srinagar.

Dr. Ahangar has published twenty research papers of National and International repute. He has also authored 17 Books pertaining to Education, Psychology, Sociology, Educational Technology and Creativity. Dr. Ahangar has presented/participated in seminars/conferences/workshops and has supervised more than one hundred research projects at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.

Besides this Dr. Ahangar has Introduced Yearly Publication of Research Compendium, Produced Instructional Material in the courses viz., Theory and Principles of Education, Sociology of Education, Educational Research and Educational Technology and Prepared E- Content for B. A. (Education) for Kashmir University and IG B. Ed/ M. Ed Cluster University.
